Evelyn Weaver is a Later Life Diva

I decided to read EVELYN WEAVER IS A LATER LIFE DIVA because I enjoyed Crear’s novel, A CHRISTMAS CAROLINE. EWISLD is a story about a sixty-nine-year-old widow whose small world opens up when her younger sister, Dora—a brash, eccentric, free-spirited woman—pays her a visit and stays. This book is definitely worth reading. I appreciated the humor throughout and how Crear contrasts the two sisters who are polar opposites. Crear’s writing is vivid and descriptive, which I loved. I also enjoyed the unique writing voice and the emotions conveyed throughout. By the end of the novel, I found myself truly caring about the characters and relating to them. Crear’s story is entertaining and fun, and at times very moving. If you are a female reader with a sister, you will love this story. Highly recommend!
