We’re delighted to introduce Jonathan Brough, a signed Crear Publishing author with two exciting new books on the way, including The Antiquities of Amalthea Academy, launching this month.

Jonathan recently completed an incredible 30-year teaching career, including two decades serving as Head across three primary schools. Throughout his career, he has remained deeply passionate about reading, storytelling and inclusive education, values that now shine through in his writing.

Drawing inspiration from real experiences within education, Jonathan creates stories filled with relatable, diverse characters and imaginative worlds that young readers can truly connect with. His work reflects not only his creativity, but also his understanding of the importance of representation, encouragement and curiosity in children’s literature.

As well as focusing on writing, Jonathan continues to support schools across the UK, sharing his knowledge and experience with educators and young readers alike.

We are incredibly excited to be working with him and cannot wait to share his books with readers.

We’re also thrilled to be hosting the launch of Jonathan Brough's The Antiquities of Amalthea Academy on Saturday 30th May at Electric Beacon Books in South Shields. It promises to be a wonderful event celebrating storytelling, imagination and the arrival of an exciting new voice in children’s fiction.
