Today marked one of those significant moments in the publishing journey that never loses its impact. We took delivery of the printed copies ahead of this weekend’s launch, and there is something incredibly rewarding about seeing a project move from manuscript to finished book.
At Crear Publishing, being part of that transformation is always a privilege. From early drafts to the final product, it is a process that reminds us why we do what we do.
This Saturday, 11th April, we will be celebrating the Words from the Soul book launch, this is the debut poetry collection from our newest author, Natasha Robinson, taking place at Electric Beacon Books in South Shields.
Working with new authors is always a rewarding experience, but supporting Natasha on this journey has been particularly special. Over the past few weeks, it has been inspiring to watch her collection take shape, from those early manuscripts that immediately stood out, to the finished book now sitting proudly in front of us.
As we approach launch day, there is a real sense of anticipation. Events like this are always a reminder that while writing can be a solitary process, books themselves bring people together. There is nothing quite like the atmosphere of a room filled with readers, writers and supporters, all sharing in the celebration of a new publication.
If previous events are anything to go by, we are looking forward to a wonderful afternoon. There will no doubt be thoughtful conversations, moments of reflection and, we suspect, a few emotional readings as Natasha shares her work.
We are incredibly proud to be part of this moment and to support such a talented and inspiring young author.
If you are local to South Shields, we would be delighted to see you there.
